Wanderlust Part 5 of 5 – A Road-trip to the Florida Keys Plus Dinosaurs and Back to New Jersey

Well, this is it my friends. Thank you for checking out our journey to the Florida Keys and back to New Jersey. These photos do not do the trip justice as the experience was filled with amazing moments we did not document like adventures through the woods, a night out with my cousin in Jacksonville, many nights spent sleeping in the back of the Prius (thank you Walmart), and 0f course all of the wonderful people who assumed we smoked weed because of how we looked.

Dinosaur Land and Over 4,000 Miles Covered

After Pisgah Falls, the Natural Bridge was pretty beat. It was fairly expensive for what it was, but we did get to see a big snake! Of course, once we saw an ad in one of our pamphlets we picked up from a rest stop for Dinosaur Land we knew we had to go. It was like $6 each, and we got to spend as much time as we wanted roaming around. Plus, we got to take a picture with a giant King Kong!

Of course once we hit Maryland we knew we had to get crabs, which I gladly cracked for Eva as we sat on the Inner Harbor. After our last night of sleeping in the back of the Prius we headed to Philadelphia so I could attend a digital marketing event for my job. Luckily Eva had friends in town, so we actually decided to go drinking all night, which we didn’t do the entire vacation! Yes, it is true! We drank one giant drink in The Florida Keys, a couple beers on the boat, and a couple beers with my cousin one night, but we did not party very hard. If you take anything from our trip, it is to not destroy your next day by getting obliterated the night before.

I apologize the photos are never very climactic, but when we finally dropped the car off we had 4,047.9 on the odometer. Do not mind the “Maintenance Required” notification, it just needed an oil change from all the badass time it spent on the road. Well, both Eva and I hope you enjoyed our journey as much as we did. Hopefully we will be doing it again, except we will be heading west next time.
